Rapid List — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Rapid List collects nothing about you. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We never see your lists.

Who this policy covers

This policy explains how the Rapid List app (Rapid List, “the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information. It applies to Rapid List for iPhone, iPad and Mac, published at madebyrapid.com by Max’s Enterprises Pty Ltd (ABN 82 002 434 577), New South Wales, Australia.

This website is a separate thing from the app, and has its own privacy notice.

Where your lists live

Your lists are stored on your device. If iCloud sync is switched on — it is on by default, and you can switch it off for any device in Settings — they are also stored in your own iCloud account, using Apple’s CloudKit.

That is your iCloud, not ours. We have no servers, and we have no way to read, copy or recover your lists. If you turn sync off, your lists stay on that device.

Sharing a list

When you share a list, Apple sends the invitation, and the person you invite sees the list through their own iCloud. The list stays in your iCloud; nothing passes through us.

You choose what each person may do — view only, or add and tick things off — and you can change or remove their access at any time.

Circles

A circle is a group of people you share with often. The names and email addresses or mobile numbers you put in a circle are stored only on that device. They are used to address invitations through Apple, and they are never sent to us.

Choosing someone from Contacts

When you add someone to a circle you can pick them from your contacts. This uses Apple’s own contact picker, which runs outside the app: Rapid List never has access to your contacts. Only the single name and address you choose is passed back, and it is stored on your device with the rest of that circle.

Files you import and export

Rapid List can turn a markdown file into a list, and save a list back out as markdown. It reads and writes only the files you choose, when you choose them.

Deleting your information

Deleting the app removes everything Rapid List has stored on that device. Lists kept in your iCloud are yours: delete them in the app, or manage them in iCloud settings on your Apple device. We hold nothing to delete.

Children

Rapid List has no account, no sign-in, and no way to contact anyone through the app. It collects nothing from anybody, whatever their age.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
